Anastasia Savinova works across different disciplines including drawing, sculpture, photography, video, performance, installation, found object. Her practice revolves around places, ecologies and human relationship with ’more-than-human world’.  Her work investigates how everything is intertwined and how we always emerge as a part of something greater. 

Anastasia Savinova was born in USSR near the Ural Mountains in 1988. Since 2013 she lives and works in the Swedish North. Savinova’s works are held in public art collections including Moderna Museet,  Konstmuseet i Norr, and numerous regional and municipal collections in Sweden; and in private art collections worldwide. Savinova’s work has been shown and performed in Sweden and internationally, including at Bildmuseet Umeå, Konstmuseet i Norr Kiruna, Kvinnohistoriskt Museum Umeå, Norrbottens Museum Luleå, Umeå Konsthall, Ajtte Museum Jokkmokk, Sundsvalls Museum, GSA Gallery Stockholm – in Sweden; Barents Spektakel in Kirkrnes, Norway; Kunstwerk Carlshütte in Büdelsdorf, Germany; MUViM in Valencia, Spain; Michele Mariaud Gallery in New York, USA; König Gallery in London, UK.
